always wanted a pair of these pliers. the tips are a little big to fit in recesses in panels but they work well if there is enough clearance to engage the clips. they work on non-automotive applications also: removing the large staples in shipping boxes is a breeze. this tool usually removes clips without any damage and with replacement clips running 50 cents or more a piece, the purchase price can be recouped quickly.
