Did not work!
I tried using this set to remove a worn oil pan drain plug. The plug wasn't rounded, and still had some ridges. I put the proper size onto the plug and started to try to extract it. Instead of removing the bolt, the Irwin Bolt Out Tool just shredded what was reaming of the bolt ridges. I ended up using a chisel and a hammer to spin the oil pan drain plug out. I have since then returned the Irwin Bolt Out kit. In future cases of this same problem, I will again just use a chisel and hammer to remove the worn bolt.

Removed a 14mm brake plate bolt in about 30 seconds.

i would buy this again
works like a charm I have thousands wrapped up in sockets & wrenches but if it is rusted or rounded over this is the tool to buy

Great Tool
I bought this tool to remove a rounded oil drain plug. It grabbed the head of the bolt and removed it with ease. I couldn't be any more happier with the product. I know I will get years of use out of it.

bought this for brake caliper bolt and never thought i would use it again. i was wrong and used it 2 more times in a week and wondered why i didnt buy this sooner. also get the expansion never know when you will need it i did
