Gunk Heavy Duty Gel, Our Best Engine Degreaser, is specially formulated to remove baked on grease and oil from hotter-running engines. Gunk Heavy Duty Gel clings to the engine surface being sprayed and does not run off. Since the product stays where it's sprayed, it has more time to penetrate baked on engine soils. Heavy duty degreasing formula for Cars, Trucks, Power Mowers, Marine, Heavy-Duty Rigs, Farm Equipment and Tractors as well as Industrial Machinery. Clean your Engine with Gunk Heavy Duty Gel and then protect it with Gunk Shine.

Product Features:
  • Our most aggressive engine degreaser
  • Specially formulated to remove baked on grease and oil from hotter-running engines
  • Clings where it's sprayed
  • Deep penetrating action

I'm use to the foamy, but the gel does stick fairly well and for hard to get off dirt and grime the gel seems to work well.

This product works great every time. I've used it on almost every used car I perform a job on. It cleans very well if you warm the car up and scrub the grime and dirt with a brush. It does have an odor but it isnt to bad and 1 can last for about 3 cars.

Comments about Gunk Engine Brite Engine Degreaser Heavy Duty Gel:

I used this product to clean the baked on, caked on oily, dirty grime from my engine and surrounding compartment. Build up was at least 10 years old. Opted to clean up after replacing my water pump, radiator and hoses, which casued me to work in that nasty funk. Drove 2 miles to car wash, sprayed onto a semi-cool engine, waited about 15 minutes, then pressure washed off. This product did a pretty good job of getting things clean, but it did attack the paint on my valve covers (what little I had left) and the paint on my intake manifold. Overall, am satisfied that it works as advertised.
