Really like Gila UltraShield.
I've been tinting windows a long time. It boils down to how good the installer is. Tinting involves a lot of prep work. Believe it or not I prefer to take my windows out before tinting which creates a nice flater surface to work (obviously I don't remove the rear window). I can remove just about any window (even electric) in about 15 min. Having the window out allows you to be able to have zero edge seams showing anywhere. That and the tint applies so easy. I can honestly say Gila ULTRASHIELD lasts, & as long as you use glass cleaner that says "safe for window tint" it won't fade or turn purple.
You want to make sure you don't go too dark or you will eventually get nailed from the Highway patrol. They don't seem to care how dark tint is on standard cab pickup trucks. Remember for them, it's all about how many people could be in the vehicle that they CAN'T see when they pull you over. On 4 door cars if you stick with all windows at 35% you shouldn't ever have a problem. Maybe the rear window done at no darker than 20%. This should keep you free from a ticket.

Love It
I used this product my first time ever tinting any windows and they look professional. My friends dont believe i did them myself. The 20% is awesome! You can barely see inside of the car but clearly see out. Everything went smoothly with this product. The Gila Rear Window Strips is another story. (Horrible)

This is a great product. It can be very frustrating to use if you do not know how to apply it. There are several videos online about window tinting that helped me out alot! A profesional tint job costs over $100 for an average vehicle so in my opinion this stuff is an awesome value. When purchasing, make sure there are no creases or wrinkles in the roll. These will show up on your window and cause a less than satisfactory result. People say this stuff fades, I have used it on several vehicles and after about 6 years it still looks good!

Cheap Price = Cheap performance
I guess it's true , you get what you pay for. First of all the "Lifetime" warranty does NOT cover fading which means it's almost certain to do so. Secondly, when you open up the roll of tint it has a big sticker holding the roll together and when you try to peel the sticker off it's going to leave all kinds of sticker residue on the role so you are going to have to unroll the tint roll more to compensate for this.Thirdly, the tint kinks up too easily and actually tore in a few places that I didn't cut. I'm not tinting expert but I've have better luck on other rolls of tint.I guess I will go to a professional this week to get it done right after wasting [$] for 2 rolls of this tint!
