I use this drian pan daily-diesel mechanic
i use this pan daily. Heavy equipment diesel mechanic. Holds up well in the field. It seals up well and does not leak all over the back of my service truck.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Air port was defective.
Air port cap would not stay in place. The cap simply pops on it is not secure.
The port should have a cap that is secure as this container ends up containing hazardous material, a spill is a huge deal. The rest of the product seemed well made. The design was good with exception of the air port which unfortunately makes what otherwise is a good product useless.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
Holds lots of oil for those engines like a diesel

Big pan for engines that hold lots of oil, the only downside to this pan is it can splash some oil when it comes rushing out of the oil pan when you first remove the drain plug.
Finally No Leaks and Enough Capacity!

Spent a little extra to get this container and 100% happy with the decision. I can do the oil change, transfer case and transmission fluid, AND fuel filter on my 1997 7.3 Powerstroke and still have room for more fluids. It's also wide enough to catch the oil from the filter and oil pan and designed in a way that doesn't splash or risk overflowing because the drain into the pan is wide enough and breathes. Another great feature is it stands on it's own so it's tall and thin for easy storage. Also, because of this design all the oil drains into the container, leaving the surface as an area to put extra tools and old parts/filters as you do the job. Lastly, and most importantly, no leaks! No more oil in the truck bed taking the container to empty out! Finally! Would buy again in a heartbeat!
Worth every penny

Great product. Very large but needed for the deep pocket for oil to drop into. This allows draining without splashing oil out on floor. Solid plastic and solid screw on caps.
