Needed it for my motorcycle's oil change, it works great and is easy to use. I did have to be careful, since I changed the oil outside and the pavement was not flat it did almost spill over the edge, but I just had to rotate it. The shallow edges are absolutely worth it for the container space and ease of storage until disposal.

I did an oil change on a 2L 4 cylinder engine with about a 4.2qt oil capacity and a 14mm (~.5inch) drain port size (fairly typical oil change, maybe even on the smaller side). This thing holds 10qts, a change of that size should be fine. I positioned this into place to catch the stream right in the middle, and it did, and I figured all would be well. The oil worked its way down the pan slope to the holes to enter the container just like it should, and then the level started to rise. The fill holes of the container didn't drain fast enough, so the level rose over the lip and spilled about 1/4qt of used oil over the edge, causing a mess on the ground, and all along the side of the container, completely defeating the purpose of it. For future oil changes I may just cut out the drain holes to one big hole to allow it to fill fast enough.
