Does the job perfectly
I absolutely wouldnt go off of the first review that was written for this product. That guy obviously has no idea how to install a transmission pan. I've used these twice and they both seal up tighter than a frogs hind quarters. Pan bolts are only meant to be torqued down to 13 ft/lb on a A518 transmission. If you keep torquing them down it will warp the pan and YES cause it to leak no matter what kind of gasket you use. You do not have to use any kind of RTV with this gasket either. It seals great and does not leak at all! Also, the OEM gasket is NOT reuesable. Why would you bother reusing something that costs $5 to replace? Just my $.02. I would absolutely recommend this gasket to anyone.

Don't waste your time or money
Keep you oem reusable gasket. If it's lost or destroyed get one from mopar for a 46re. It will fit a 727 also. You will never get this one to seal. Don't keep trying to tighten bolts or you will need a helicoil. Cork ones will seal but good luck finding a cork one. The ones that come in the filter kits are even worse.

Great gasket
Not sure what the guy above is complaining about, obviously he over torqued his transmission pan bolts and warped it causing the gasket to leak. I have used dozens of these and not one has leaked. They hold so well that you do not need to use any type of gasket maker with these, simply put the gasket in place... torque to required specs, and your good to go.
