Exact fit replacement for the factory EGR valve gasket. MAKE SURE to completely remove the old gasket from the EGR valve & the engine prior to installing this gasket!!! Any residue of the old gasket will prevent this one from making a good seal & you will have problems later.

Leaked - factory defective
EGR was in original box and sealed in plastic bag with new gasket. I sucked air from it and plugged the port. The diaphragm leaked and allowed the EGR to close again. It was defective and the store agreed. I went with a different brand.

Used in my CJ Jeep exhaust. gasket between header & tailpipe. Takes these basically solid / rounded gaskets, to seat in the tailpipe flange, & hold as Jeep goes through twisting action on trails & street. Anything else, just tears apart or burns out.

29 year old EGR gasket was as brittle as ice. Took entire intake manifold off and cleaned it inside and out. Used a screw driver to scrape out carbon deposits in the EGR holes. Used Mineral Spirits and brake parts cleaner on the rest of the manifold. New EGR gasket torqued down nicely.
