Installed this with the Airtex mechanical fuel pump for my slant six. Much better than the gasket the pump came with. Glad I picked it up just to be safe.

Not the quality I was expecting
The Fuel Pump Mounting Gasket was nothing more than compressed paper. I installed this on my 1957 Fairlane 312cid engine. Maybe I am too 'old school', but I remember mounting gaskets to be more like cork or near-like leather. This item was flimsy and got an indentation while I was installing where the fuel pump arm hinges. I don't have the other components in place to where I can test for leaks but I'll soon find out if this item hold up to the task.
