Perfect fit
This gasket was a perfect fit. The materials of construction are excellent. It is very durable and tough. I cannot say enough about how utterly pleased I am with the impeccable quality and usefulness of this gasket. I am getting extraordinarily long winded in my rating for this part because I get extra credit points if I write a glowing review using 400 or more characters in writing the review. Although this is only a 3 buck part, I am accumulating the credits so I am just writing away . I am now at 400 characters, so I am finished. Can't go wrong with this gasket.

Gasket as described - reason for purchasing was the problem
The lack of information on certain parts on Advance's site is infuriating. Ordered this gasket because I didn't think it was included in the Fel-Pro 92586 intake gasket kit for a '00 Taurus 3.0 DOHC, VIN S. Turns out, there were TWO in the kit! One paper, one aluminized. Went to return the gasket immediately upon pickup, and was told the computer wouldn't let them refund me my money, because it had been ordered "too soon". So, I was supposed to either waste 20 minutes hanging around the store waiting, or drive back and forth 21 miles, in MA (hour, easy) mind you, to return a $2 gasket. NOT HAPPY!!! That was the dumbest thing I had ever heard!

Exact fit replacement for the factory EGR valve gasket. MAKE SURE to completely remove the old gasket from the EGR valve & the engine prior to installing this gasket!!! Any residue of the old gasket will prevent this one from making a good seal & you will have problems later.
