Identicle to original Delco part. Tester said this was the part to replace. Symtoms included flooding when warm, poor starting and poor idle; engine light on. Flooded so bad when warm had to be towed.
Upon replacement, which takes about 2 minutes, engine light off and vehicle runs perfectly.
A very easy fix for less than $20, with a quality part that was easy to install.

Fixed temp gauge and check engine light problem. Have new one ready when taking old out. Only lost 1/2 pint coolant without draining system. Need swivel and long extension to get from inside tire well.

Doesn't Fit
It doesn't fit the factory harness. '93 Chevy C1500, 5.7 liter V8.
Factory harness only has 1 pin, this one is for 2.

My radiator fans on my 2001 Chevy Malibu weren't working and car was running real hot. Fans would come on when the air condition was turned on. So I tried this temp sensor. Perfect fit and already had thread sealant on it. Easy to install. And best part was it fixed my problem. Car runs at normal temperature now.
