I was rebuilding the upper end of my 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA, 350 and needed to set timing, TPS, and IAC motor. The process involves putting the car into open loop mode and disconnecting the timing pigtail. My car has the digital dash and finding the correct RPM to set it was a bear, I seen this advertised at Advance and said to myself, wow, this is exactly what I need. Just clamp onto a spark plug wire and the unit displays the reading/setting of the RPM of the motor. Once I set the minimum air/IAC, I disconnected it and wrapped up my tuneup> I recommend this to anyone who works on cars. Great product!!!!!!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
