this was used to replace the pipe that came with a BBK true dual exhaust, which was not bent hi enough to clear axel no matter how it was angled.
does not ship in a box so you better have a pipe expander to make it round again

Junk not made right
Not direct fit. The hanger was smaller diameter than the OEM. The hanger was not in the correct position. The pipe appeared to be smaller diameter than the original. The final bend was hitting the crossmember. Unless you have a lot a patients and a torch go get one custom made. It was too messed up to try and blame it on UPS beating it up during shipment. After an afternoon of messing around with it I got it to work.
Very pleased with this part.
I installed factory tubular exhaust manifolds from a late eighties 5.0 Mustang onto an older F150 302. Making up my own dual exhaust for the project appeared to be a problem, none of the local pipe benders could make up the ball flange to hook to the manifolds. I found a pair of these Walker 41726 adapters at Advance at a great price. The fit of the pipe ball flange is very good against the manifold. I would prefer for the flange connector that the bolts go through to be concave instead of flat, but this is not a big issue especially since I could not find any other options besides this part. Well made part at a great price and they were shipped quickly. I also ordered part number 548755 Nickson 45 degree pipes to make the direction back correct. Overall I am very happy with the parts, I will be able to make up a dual exhaust system for a fraction of what the muffler shops would charge.

Went to muffler shop to have pieces bent and was told that the material was not aluminized as advertized. Also would not bent properly, material was too thin.

Terrable welds don't buy nothing but a headache
Worst in quality and I had to do the job twice because of this defective part. Don't buy and save yourself the headache.
