If used on a 5/16 fuel line, should I cut off the ends that are 1/4 inch in diameter, so as not to restrict fuel flow; or does it matter?

We do have an exact fuel filter available online for your vehicle and the part number is DW-10131. Please enter your vehicle on our website and search for this part to check the fitment.
Hello, I drive a 2007 Dodge Charger 3.5L V6. I noticed that this filter does not say "exact fit" for my year make and model, however I can not find any matches on any filters. Do you think this will fit my car regardless?

Do not buy this for a fuel injected car! This is for carbureted cars, motorcycles, riding lawnmowers, etc. I checked RockAuto.com, and there is no listing for fuel filters at all, which makes me think that Chyrsler sucks and did not include a replaceable filter on your model. It must be part of the fuel pump assembly, which is inside your fuel tank. And by the way, yes, Chrysler sucks. You've been lucky to get 10 years out of that car. If you're having fuel issues, then it can only be the pump assembly ($75 on RockAuto) the pump relay ($2 on RockAuto) or your injectors ($29 each on RockAuto).

It definitely will not. This filter is for gravity feed systems like
lawnmowers, or carbureted motorcycles or cars with low pressure fuel pumps.
Your car is fuel injected and probably runs over 30 PSI of fuel pressure
which would just cause this filter to burst. Keep searching for the right
filter or just take it to the dealership.

No it will not. That is a inline fuel filter for small engine like lawnmowers or gocarts
