DW57092 I have seen the question being asked several times without being answered properly so im going to ask do I have to drain the pag oil first and refill or can I just install the compressor without draining pag oil and have my system recharged

Hi CHRIS, I'm glad to assist you! This Reman GM A6 Compressor w/ Clutch - Part # DW57092 come pre-charged with 3 ounces of PAG 150 oil. However, you've to add the remaining amount of PAG oil that recommended for your vehicle. It is not required to drain the oil unless the PAG oil type is not compatible for your vehicle.

I bought this replacement a/c compressor for a 1974 Oldsmobile Cutlass...There is NO information in the accompanying literature to know how much oil to put in the compressor...This is mandatory information that should be PROMINENTLY labeled on the packaging and compressor.
