Purchased and installed upper control arms in May 2014 and they are both creaking from being dry/no grease 6 weeks later! The creaking is VERY bad, it is straight metal to metal! Like the factory ones these have a type of ball joint rather than the rubber bushings where the two mounting bolts go through to bolt it to the car. It is not possible to grease them, no grease fitting just like the factory ones. They should not require additional grease like most modern ball joints that are sealed! Beware buying after market parts that have anything to do with any type of ball joint from Advance! I have had nothing but problems over the past 5 or 6 years with them from ball joints that go dry/wear out to cheap dust boots that are paper thin and tear before you get it installed! I swore I was going to use OEM wherever ball joints were involved, I went against my better judgment here and will once again be doing the repair twice! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PARTS!

Product as described, earlier posts said the part holes wouldn;t line up right,,, In my case everything went in smooth, You just have to know what your doing and use common sense. The only issue i saw with this is it didnt have a nipple fitting for grease to put more in if needed. Othet than that product works fine so far.

It fits fine.
It is possible to change without disturbing the strut but it is not easy. Plan on spreading the mounting sheet metal. It makes installation easier.
Rust makes changing the arm rather than just the ball joint the best alternative.
