It does the job
On my Chevy Malibu, I got code P0010, Intake Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit / Open (Bank 1). The one mark against it is the screw size is different than OEM, like another reviewer stated. I can see this being nuisance if you're not in an equipped auto shop. If you don't happen to have the right tool in your set, you'd have to put everything back together, go buy the tool, and take it apart again to finish the job. If nothing else, a notation about the different screw size on the package would be helpful. That said, the part work and fixed the problem, which is what really matters IMO.

It does the job

I installed this part on a 2009 Chevy Cobalt that was showing error codes P0010 and P0011. Looked at manual for replacement instructions. Manual said to use a 10mm socket to remove; I did. When I installed the Advance part (this one), the mounting bolt would not tighten. The problem? The part from Advance had a 8mm head on the mounting bolt. How hard or expensive would it be to provide this item with the correct size bolt? Have some sympathy for the next guy who has to work on this (with my luck it will probably be me) so that after he reads the manual and approaches this job with a 10mm socket, it actually fits. I give this part a failing grade for just that reason, even if it does appear to work. I will purchase this part elsewhere next time, and look it over before I buy.

Exact Replacement OE Part
If you are worried that this part won't work because it isn't from the car manufacturer, rest assured that this is an Original Equipment Part. Works as expected and an easy install for the home mechanic. Save a few bucks and do it yourself. It took me less than 5 minutes to switch the part out. Ordered the part before 9:30 and the part was delivered in an hour. What service.

The part works fine just as intended. The other person that installed this below, I really don't know if it's that big of a deal for a change in head bolt size? Also, Advance doesn't manufacture that part so don't dog them, if anything you're going to be wanting to complain to dorman. Anyways, fairly easy install and fixed the problem just as intended.
