1st- for the 2005 1.8L toyota engine I have, non-drive by wire. I needed to purchase two 8x45 bolts. 2nd- all capture nuts are brass. Easily stripped at OEM 22 ft/lbs.specs. I recommend the torque to no more than 10 ft/lbs. Lastly all emission hose fittings are not flaired. Thus you could have an intake leak...like me. Must get some type of screw clamps for ALL hoses. Lastly my gasket for #1 was improperly formed...had a chunk missing. I only suggest getting this intake if your OEM intake is damaged, cracked, etc.! And you keep the above in mind. The only plus of the design is...it appears to be stronger in key areas to help eliminate warping. If the threaded "capture nuts" were steel I would recommend this item. But all these issues are simple to change at the manufacturing. But not in the "field". Dorman needs to step up.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
