Great Part
This mirror control switch was very easy to remove and replace. I did it myself in about ten minutes, using very little tools, just a screw driver and my two hands. It pops out of the door, held in by retention clips, all you have to do is unplug it from the quick connect socket and remove it then plug in the new switch you just purchased from Advance Auto. Be sure you test the switch prior to replacing it back into the door, you don't want to have to take it out again and risk cracking the retention clip. good luck.

OK But Had To Modify!
The switch functions and restored my mirrors to working condition which is nice! Problem is the fit as others have stated. I had to file down one edge as the molded plastic is not exactly the same shape as the original thus the switch wouldnt latch into the armrest piece properly. There is likely variances in the armrest piece and thats why some people have issues with this fitting properly & some dont.

This is an exact duplicate of the OEM. The most difficult part was figuring how to get the old one out... to see it it was just a loose connection. Pry up the old one from the front side (the trucks front) and it pops right out. I don't think the contacts in the switch are quite as good, it has some hesitation the OEM didn't. But it did fix the OEM that had stopped turning both mirrors left.

Had to buzz a little off the corners of the switch housing with dremel to get it to fit into armrest base. Switch is not backlit as OEM. Functionally no problems. Works fine

Fixed the problem, easy install just popped the old one out and plugged the new one in. The driver's side mirror would not go up or down but the side to side worked. The passenger's mirror worked fine in all directions. I just wish she would have told me there was a problem before she forced the mirror and I had to replace it also!
