Quick easy repair
This is a direct fit replacement part identical to original. Factory part and Dorman part both made in Singapore. Determine which side of vehicle faulty sensor is on, OBD code should reference right or left. Google it to verify. Just disconnect battery for 1 hour to de-energize trigger mechanism, pull orange lock tab, push down yellow plug tab and pull out, use 10mm wrench to loosen single bolt and pull part out. Reverse procedure to replace part. Hook battery back up and you've saved yourself Hundreds$.

replaced this part in 15 minutes and to my surprise all the markings and stickers were the same as one removed, new part was made from same manufacturer as factory for a lot less money, great part.

fixed my air bag light on a 05 silverado, get a scan first so you know which one to replace, there are 2 of them. and they are the same part.

Both front impact sensors worked great. Replaced the drivers side first with no problems until the truck threw another code for the passenger side. Replaced the other side and all is well. Ben at my local Advance store was great as usual. Always helps to have a knowledgeable parts person around even when you know what you need.
