Misleading description

The description says "Comes with handle (where applicable)", but the cable did not come with the handle. You can't use the cable without a handle, and Advance Auto does not list the handle seperately, which makes this part worthless if your hood release handle breaks. Especially since the description makes it sound like the handle is included.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
Longer than OEM cable

This cable is a few inches longer than the OEM cable for the CRX. As a result, I have to be creative trying to route it to the hood latch to use up the extra length. When replacing your cable, you may want to consider rerouting your through the firewall instead of the driver's side wheelwell. This would address a security weakness whereby thieves can easily pop your hood from the outside.
The cable does NOT come with the release handle (the description says it "may"). Be sure to run the release end of the cable through the handle BEFORE routing it up to the hood.
