The wiper went on really hard and after if wiped across the window 4 to 5 times it stripped out and no longer works.

Good replacement wiper arm. The spring is a little too strong and mine kept getting stuck between the window and door panel. A slight tweak to the arm solved the issue. I would recommend it to replace an original arm.
