Bought a pair and 1 required filing to have the arm come down and contact the glass.

good price on wiper arms but neither lock tab would close without filing inside so it would close. One doesn't stay locked so I need to return it

Picked these up in a local store and had to modify the latching mechanism on BOTH arms so that it would lock on to the mount and let the arm release. One of the arms was defective. It was not putting enough pressure on the blade so it left a streak in the middle of the windshield. Exchange it at a different local store and the new one was great. Didn't have to modify it at all to fit.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
I would buy this product only if there was nothing else.
Before installing the arm in your vehicle make sure that the wiper will fit properly onto the wiper pivot. I didn't and now I have a cracked windshield.
