High quality strong replacement.

Really not much to review. It's a simple replacement part that works perfectly and takes 60 seconds to install. The arm has plenty of downward pressure to force your wiper blade against your windshield. It, like any other arm, can be pulled away from the glass and semi-"locks" back to allow you to clean your windshield, etc. To install, use a flathead screwdriver and lightly pry the small metal tab right by the wiper motor outward. This locks the arm to the motor. Once you're confident you have that tab out as far as it will go, pull the wiper arm away from the motor. It should easily pull right off. If it doesn't easily slip off, then you probably don't have the tab pulled away enough. My wiper arms had been in place for over 10 years and they slipped right off once the tab was pulled away. Next, disconnect your wiper blade from the old arm and reinstall it on your new arm. Pull the tab back on the new arm and push the new arm onto the wiper motor. Push downward to ensure it is fully seated. The tab should snap back into place once the arm is seated properly. If it doesn't you probably need to push the wiper arm more into place. That's it. Test em out, then post your own review on here.:-)

Lasted 14 months before falling apart

I am the author of the previous review on this wiper arm. That arm lasted 14 months before falling apart. The tab and spring that hold the arm on the motor are held in place by a metal plate across the back of the arm. (see picture) This plate is held in by a couple screws, where apparently, the heads of the screws are just large enough to keep the plate in place. Over time, either the screw heads were worn down or the plate holes were enlarged. The plate slipped off, the spring/tab went flying, and the arm came off the motor. I was lucky to find the tab laying on the cowling so I could inspect what happened. (see picture) All this said, I bought another one. I was able to snag it very cheaply and it was readily available. So here's to hoping the damage was a fluke and this one will last a bit longer. The cheap price has given them a second chance, but it won't give them a third.
