I have a 1994 Chevy Blazer. It had the "pin" style wiper arms. Apparently during the 94 model year GM switched to the "u-hook" style. If you have a GM truck of that vintage you can change to this "new" design without changing anything on the vehicle. This will allow you to use the "new" beam style wiper blades that will NOT fit on the pin type. This arm is also much sturdier as the boxed section of the arm extends much further toward the blade than the pin style. An incredibly easy and functional update for an old ride.
