Wroked well in the end, add a washer!
In the end this worked in a pinch, was available right away and was cheap. Per another reviewer I looked heavily at the angle installed and decided to add 2 small washers to make it perfect. I also add a small amount of RTV Gasket maker to the o ring area to aid in sealing. I allowed it to dry for a few hours.
Most Liked Negative Review
Not great, but limited choices
As the other reviewer stated, this isn't exactly like the OE part, but it was the only choice at Advance Auto. I replaced my water pump, and the original tube needed replacing too. The only thing holding this tube in place was an o-ring and the bracket that bolted to the engine. I "sealed" it with the same gasket sealer I used on the water pump, but would have preferred a stronger epoxy (or JB Weld?). The bracket on the tube didn't line up correctly, so I had to widen the slot on it in order to get the bolt in.

how do you install this part?

Hi Mike, I'm glad to help you! We can only look up by the vehicle. Since you didn't mention the specific vehicle, it's hard to tell for sure. To give you the correct information I would need the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.

For step by step instructions i recommend that you go to your local Advance Auto Parts store and purchase a repair manual.
