Better then OEM. I think
I did put a few coats of clear coat on them. Hoping to stop them from rusted out. I try to put clear coat on all new parts to help them last longer then the old parts. 2004 to 2015 the old ones been on. Looks stronger over the old ones I replaced. Easy to remove old and install new. Took about 30 minutes. I have a 2004, Cheverolet, Silverado, 2500 HD, ext. cab,. Short bed, V=8, 6.0 liter gasoline engine. With 143,258 mileage. Cheaper over one Cheverolet 1500 Chenneye 4X4 work truck V-6 4.3 liter.

AMAZING!!!!
Probably the best tail gate hinges I've EVER bought. I mean, maybe the only ones too but still. They are the hingiest hinges I've ever installed. They help the tailgate not only go up but down too! I challenge you to find a product more hinge-tastic!

This is another direct replacement for the notoriously rusty 2000-2006 Silverado. My original hinges with their hollow pins rusted away to the point that nothing was left. These replacements hinges feature a solid pin that is welded to the hinge mount. It should last at least as long as the rest of the truck. I picked them up at my local store after ordering them on line. They had them in stock and installation couldn't have been easier. Two bolts on each tailgate side and two bolts on each bedside. Lined up perfect and exact fit.
