I would recommend this product it's a snap.

Installed on 99 Chevy Cavalier. Old bushing was completely gone. A little tight to get to on top of transmission so I snapped it on the linkage first and then snapped the cable on. Note; the smaller bushing without flange is for the transmission linkage and the other bushing is for shift linkage under console. You Tube video will help with removing console if necessary. More than likely you will just need to replace bushing under the hood. You Tube can help to locate the linkage.
Snapped right on
The first review that I read said that the white piece was the one that went under the hood. That was incorrect. It's the other clear plastic one. I spent a lot of time trying to put the white piece on for nothing. The other piece snapped on with your fingers. Yes, it is cramped quarters but there is room to put your hand in there and just Snap it on After removing the remnants of the old one. Otherwise you have to take off the bracket that's in the way which is not that bad. Four bolts .

Dorman Shift Linkage Bushing #14055
Staff Reviewer -
This Part has (2) bushings included. 1 white hard nylon and 1 clear nylon bushing. The White bushing will replace the one on the cable under the hood. Access is Very Difficult!! I would Strongly suggest you remove the cable from the hanger near the firewall. You will need tiny channel lock or vice grip pliers to release the tangs holding the cable to the bracket(5" size is best); after you free up the cable, installation is MUCH easier. Clean out old bushing and spray some silicone on the new one and it should snap right in with moderate finger pressure. Snap grommet back onto ball end of shifter link and you are done. I did NOT use any cable ties as the fit is excellent and the part is Good Quality.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Its the correct bushing for a 2005 GMC Envoy. Use patience when putting it in and then it will work like the original.
It got me back me back In gear, 😆
Truck wouldn't go into gear and I found bushings at advance auto two minutes from home
