Fit my Saturn SL2 Perfectly and Works
It slid on the shifter ball stud pretty easily. My only tip is, be careful not to bend the prongs on the bushing while sliding on the shift cable. Make sure the points on the prongs are tucked inside the shift cable before snapping the cable in place.

Don't follow the directions.
I personally disagree with the instructions on how to install this item. It states that you first need to snap the bushing on to the shift lever then snap the shift cable onto the bushing. Well in doing it this way it leaves the plastic locking clips unsupported when you are trying to attach the shift cable. The first time I followed the directions on the package and I ended up breaking off the very brittle locking tabs when I tried to attach the shift cable. So being force to pay another [$] for this stupid piece of plastic, I decided to do things a bit differently than what the package suggest. I highly recommend carefully snapping the bushing into the cable first, THEN snap it on to the shift lever. It does make it a little more difficult to attach the cable to the lever but at least the brittle locking tabs on the bushing are now supported by the shift cable. I used a pair of pliers to carefully squeeze the shift cable with bushing and shift lever together and it worked like a charm!

Has to be something else out there besides this junk.. Been a Tech for over 30 years and have never seen such garbage. Impossible to install no matter how you do it without damaging the entire part. STAY AWAY from this part for your own good..

SUBSTANDAR PRODUCT
After the instalation as per manufacturer specs,was not retentive enouhg for the every day driving, leaving stranded for the same reason that I replaced in the first place. I replaced with an after market product from the internet for the fraction of the price, now i have a relable car again with a precision shifting.

Thie item arrived in good time. This is a compliment to the company. The product however, did not nee my expectations because it was made in such a way as to be easily breakable. An installation aid would have helped, especially for the tension ring. There is not a lot of room to install this product, so a small too to hold it would have helped. The plastic tongs were too easy to snap off and some of them did. I don't know if this installation will hold. For the quality I received I thought that the item was way overpriced.

Don't know why other people had so much trouble with this. It does feel flimsy, but it was easy to install. You need to be patient. Tip: put a little grease on it. Expensive for what it is but there is no alternative unless you can wait for an online order, at least in my area.
