Worked great on my 04 freestar
I had no problems
My old elbow broke in half reducing my gas mileage in half. Replaced it with this one - a five minute job at best and the truck is back to normal - I'm no longer seeing the gas guage go do as I press the gas pedal. I used this on a 99 F250 SD with 5.4l engine. I've had none of the problems the previous poster mentioned. The best thing about it is that my local store stocks this part - my local Ford dealerships do not. That and Dorman is a trusted name for aftermarket Ford parts - they're known (in Ford truck circles at least) for their replacement intake manifolds for the 5.4l Triton motor. I have no problems recommending this part.
