Replacement for late model Jeep 4.0!
This fits late model Jeep 4.0 engines with the stamped steel valve cover. This fits the front breather location, not the "metered orifice" elbow at the back of the valve cover. For use with grommet Dorman part number 42344.

I would buy this product again.
This part is very hard to press into the new rubber gasket on the top of the valve cover on a 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ. You need to use grease or oil on the inside diameter hole of the gasket to help with assembly. Even then it is very hard to do. The Mopar parts, gasket & PCV Elbow are no longer available from the dealer there fore you have to buy this after market part.

I purchased this Dorman part to replace the FRONT CCV VALVE (larger opening on the bottom) on my '06 Jeep Wrangler. I smeared the edge with oil and it popped right into place. This was the correct OE replacement part for a CCV valve that was old and/or blocked.
