Great Bumper
I got this control arm bumber because my old ones where completely missing on both sides. So I bought two bumpers and installed them in less than 15 minutes. The tip didn't fit in the hole. It's there to keep it still while you torque it and and help hold it in place. All I had to do was take some pliers and pry it back a little bit. Pry too much and it will break. Installed both on my 2001 Chevy Blazer Xtreme and I could instantly tell a difference. No more bottoming out and a smoother ride. These are for vehicles that have a low riding package like my Xtreme. Not made for higher vehicles.

Used on a 1999 4 door Blazer 4x4 .It does not come with a 3/8 18 nut or lock washer.I would have like to have been warned or offered the nut or open the box and find the complete part. Ther is a tab that should stick straight up to keep this part from spinning as you tighten the nut, but it is just slightly stamped up when manufactured and no way fits into the lock hole and will have to be delt with, cant ignore it. When I tried to finish prying it up to match the old part it gave a tink and broke off both them I bought. So buy a few new clean nuts and have a pipe wrench or strap wrench to keep it from spinning.

Not the easiest part to remove. Not enough room to get a socket on. Use a ratcheting combination wrench and a pipe wrench. *WARNING* new item does not come with a replacement nut. The old nut was badly rusted.
