Semi worked. Very disappointed
I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu LT. With this programming tool I was hoping to take advantage of the remote start. However it only programmed the doors and trunk to open keyless. Prior to this purchased I verified with the dealer using my vin number that my car was already preprogrammed for remote start.. i simply needed a new key fob to be programmed to the car. But that part failed. I tried twice.im so disappointed to now have to go to the dealer and spend so much more. FYI the dealer said they see this all the time.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
Too easy
This is for my '09 Pontiac G6, the setup for me took a minute or so to complete. All buttons on the device I received worked all the functions of the previous fob like remote start, lock, unlock, alarm, and trunk.
