Hi Matthew, I'm glad to assist you! This Dorman Heater Hose Connectors - 3/4 In. X 3/8 In. X 3/4 In. Tee - Part # 47112 is universal and is not application specific. You would have to match one by size to what is on your 2005 Nissan Pathfinder XE that can be fabricated into its place.
Will the heater hose T CONNECTOR melt.....and if so...what would cause that to happen

Hi William, I'm glad to assist you! An incorrectly routed heater hose connector that comes in contact with a hot part of the engine will begin to melt, although it will take some time. It can result in leaking coolant. A lack of coolant can cause your engine to overheat. An overheating engine can end in catastrophe.
Is this Tee oil resistant? What is the operating temperature range?
