Great replacement for plastic OE cap.
While attempting to change my oil in my 2017 Sienna, the OE plastic cap was way overtightened by the dealer. The plastic cap cracked in half while trying to remove it and I had to carefully chisel it out while trying not to damage the threads. This replacement cap worked perfectly to replace the OE one. If you like to change your own oil, you may want to consider replacing your OE plastic cap with this one preemptively to prevent it from failing at an inappropriate time.

The one I bought leaked
I purchased this to replace the OEM plastic filter housing. I was hoping to upgrade, get a more durable assembly, but had to reinstall the OEM plastic housing. I install the housing, torqued to spec, housing and drain cap, started the engine and got a drip around the drain cap/plug on the housing. I took my 3/8 racket and proceeded to snug the cap/plug a little more to stop leak, it stripped, I barely put any torque on it. This part of the housing on the one I purchased had poor machining, I think it would be unlikely that if I replaced it with another one, that I would have this problem.

Get rid of the junk plastic cap and get this! It is very well made drop forged aluminum very well machined. This will do the job for a long time .
Cheap China Junk
The bottom screw that you take off to drain drain filter broke on the 3rd oil change. Cheap Chinese garbage nothing more.

Better than oem
2012 Camry le
Oem housing was stripped and leaking thru the seal. Over tightened by last tech but this unit saved my night and was simple to install. Far better than oem and the hardware is simple
