Change them now!
Had to replace all the brake lines on my truck due to rust.I figured while it was apart I would change the hoses,banjo bolts and bleeders as well.The bleeders had practically rotted away,but all but one came out.The other broke off in the caliper(had to replace caliper).Replacing the bleeders when you do brakes is cheap insurance when doing future brake repairs or service.

Nicely made but wrong tread count!
This is the only bleeder screw by part number listed for my 2002 GMC Yukon Denali. So I got them. This was the only thing wrong with my rear calipers. Had to use vice grips on old ones to loosen/get them out, so couldn't reuse them for top part was crushed. Put old one up to this new one to compare. Threads don't match up. These have course threads and my old ones are fine/alot more threads. So, no I would not recommend anyone to buy these without bringing in old ones to match up.

I like to replace the bleeder screws when I flush the old brake fluid out of the system. Replacing the bleeder screw assures me I can remove it the next time I need to bleed the brakes.

They fit the front
The description says front/rear but they only fit the front. 2004 Silverado 1500 4X4 single piston calipers
The front are coarse thraed 10mm-1.5mm
The rear are fine thread 10mm-1mm
