Dorman has wrong description
Staff Reviewer -
I bought these because they are advertised to have built in check valves but when they arrived I found out they do not, they are plain bleeder screws just like the OEM ones. I checked the DormanProducts website and found the exact text which appears in the Advance Auto Parts website. When I called Dorman the tech rep sounded defensive and told me I bought the wrong ones and needed the speed-bleeders. Then I had him read his own website to which he admitted it was wrong. Dorman may have changed their description but all the vendors need to update theirs.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
Previous Review is Correct
Previous reviewer is correct, they are not speed bleeders but regular old fashioned bleeder screws.
They work great as a regular old bleeder, the asortment is nice and is the only way I could find one of the bleeders I needed for the antilock rear brakes on my 1992 Dodge W250.
I've used the Doorman Speed Bleeders and they are awesome, sadly this product is not what it is advertised to be.
