Did not fit 99 Oldsmobile Alero
I bought this to hopefully fix constant ticking noises in my 99 oldsmobile alero. Plugged it in and realized that the hazard switch must not be the problem. While installing the product it did not fit into the black casing that screwed it to the dash so I ended up having to tape it in place. Then after putting into position the button no longer clicked in, seemed like it was really cheaply made. I ended up just installing the old hazard switch back into place since this one no longer worked.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
Fixed Blinker Problems

I purchased this to repair a problem where my Alero turn signals would stop working intermediately. Apparently the flasher is built into the back of the hazard switch which explains why I could never find it on or near any of the fuse panels.
It was a little cumbersome to replace but took less than an hour so I'm happy.
