Dorman Harmonic Balancer Assembly

My father is an ASE certified master mechanic 30+ years plus 4 years in the Navy as a rotary engine mechanic. This was not installed by some no brain back yard mechanic. We trusted advance to pull the correct part, my car is one owner original engine and parts, only 62,000 original miles. We rebuilt the supercharger snout the night before, replacing the bearings and drive coupler due to play in it, we knew the harmonic balancer had just went as well do to the play in it but decided to wait till the morning. Advance stated exact fit for my car so we trusted them (a mistake, should have pulled the old one first and brought in to compare as I usually do). I went home installed the part everything went together (it seemed) fine. I went to start it and it would not fire, I knew immediately it was the Crankshaft position sensor. It was shredded so I bought a new one took it home and guess what, the gap was wrong on the new balancer, even the gaps to tell the computer the position of the crank was wrong. Please if you have a Series 1 3800 supercharged CHECK THIS AGAINST THE ORIGINAL FIRST, save yourself the headache, a 1 hour tops job is now going into the next day and I have to work and am now renting a car due to the ignorance of "The experts". I don't want anyone else dealing with the same headache. Refer to the picture I uploaded, left is OEM right is Dorman.

A perfect fit replacement for the OEM part. Removal a bit of a pain as the bolt is torgued very tight. Thought my 1/2 breaker bar was going to. A special tool to hold the flywheel to prevent it turning during the process is required. I did the install on a 1995 Bonnie SSEI supercharged (6% of 1995 bonnies)thats why it drives 2 belts.
