Did Not Last
I bought this to repair my daily driver, 92 Bonneville. Poor design to begin with, but that stuff is up to the mental midget engineers at the auto plants. Replaced the balancer in my driveway, not the easiest job, but I managed. I got the car all back together and all was well, for 2 years, and 2 months. The car quit again, troubleshooting led me to the crank sensor. As much as I didn't want to, back under the car I go to replace the sensor, which of course, is behind the harmonic balancer. When I pull the 2 year old part off the crankshaft, a shower of small parts and pieces fall to the ground from behind it. What had happened is one of the bolts that hold the timing rings on the back of the balancer, came loose and fell out, rattled around like a pinball, tore up the timing seal, destroyed the timing rings, and broke the crank sensor. A call to the store got me nothing more than a canned response of " because it's outside of the warantee period, the best I can do is offer you 10% off the new parts to fix it". That was as close to stick it in your but, as he could say it. Heres a thought, take some responsibility for the parts you sell, maybe brush up on the quality control a little bit
