Dorman Engine Air Intake Hose

As the other reviewer said, this is a piece of garbage. It's unpliable and too short. It's too small to get onto the throttle body properly, and the ICV tube is too short. Don't make the mistake I did and think "It won't be perfect, but I can just make it work."

I usually scroll past Dorman parts because, in my experience, their quality is inconsistent. In desperate need of a replacement boot, on a Saturday with nothing in stock at the local dealerships, I decided to take a leap of faith. Changing a lower intake boot on an e46 sucks enough with good parts, but I can usually do it in less than an hour. After 4 hours of wrestling with this thing, I noticed a small tear already developing on the ICV tube. The dimensions are off, the material thickness is wrong and the fit is just terrible all around. This thing went into the garbage, I'll deal with my old boot and some flex tape until the OEM part arrives. Save yourself some time and money and avoid this part. PS - 5/16 hose clamps? Really? They even got that wrong.
