The cover was well made. Maybe a little lighter weight than the OEM, but that made have been due to the residual oil on it when removed. The included gasket fit perfectly.

There isn't much to say about a rear differential cover. Its just a piece of stamped steel. However this one seems to be the same gage as the original and I appreciated its coming with a gasket so I didn't have to buy one separately, or buy gasket maker in a tube. Fair price too.

will not fit 2001 S10 2wd

I thought had 8.5 ring gear but it must be 7.38. 2001 S1l 2wd base package, 4.3 V6. I will exchange for 7.38 version.
S10 owners should be on the alert for rusted covers; oil leaked out and ruined another s10 in our fleet, $600!
