Two units have failed in less than 8 months.
I bought this Dorman after buying a very expensive original AC Delco from GM that failed just a little after a year of use and the Warrenty expired. This Dorman failed in just a couple of months where you have to push the knob in for the blower motor to turn on. I returned after two months and got a replacement under Warrenty and the replacement failed me after about 4 months the knob broke off. I don't know why I can't get a working unit anywhere and Advance limited Warrenty is only good for one replacement. I don't think you can get a good one of these anywhere even from GM. Very disappointing because I love my truck but I just can't keep the heat working and heat is very important where I live! I hate to get rid of my truck just because I can't find a good part that actually works!!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
