Product was good. Core return time consuming.
It's a battery. Time will tell. Delivery to home (in a 1/2) was a time saver. Of course, having to take the core back to the store isn't as convienent. The store couldn't figure out how to access the online order to process the core return. Left battery at store, called the online phone number, and after a long wait, the representative was very friendly and took care of contacting the store to process the core return. (I hope the $22 shows up in my account!) The core return took more time than me ordering the battery and installing!! Oh well. The store Asst Manager tells me that a third party operates the online store website for Advance so there are frequent communications issues between the store and online.

Great battery, poor customer service
The product itself works just fine and fixed my problem with my car. However, the customer service at this location was terrible and because of that I would not return. Employees came out without asking to check out battery to see if it was bad before processing our online order, which was great. However, the sign we parked in front of that said complimentary battery installation was not honored. The two, young employees were talking each other out of installing it because of COVID-19. However, it was no more invasive than them coming outside to check the battery 3 times. We asked if they had the tools and if we could just do it ourselves then because we had wanted to return the battery and get our core charge back all in the same trip. They said that was fine and spent 15 minutes going back and forth handing us the wrong size tools before we could even take the battery out. We had repeatedly asked for a 10 and were handed a 14??? The employees seemed like they were not familiar with tools. They ended up never finding a 10 for us while we were there and we had to use a wrench. The whole process took so much longer than it would have if they had just done it themselves, as they are supposed to be familiar with the removal and reinstallation. While we were doing this, the young employee who kept handing us the wrong size tools came out and replaced windshield wipers for some teenage girls (no more invasive than checking the battery), which led us to believe they just didn't want to do it for us. I am also unsure of how it is safer to hand us tools to use when we had no access to gloves or somewhere to wash our hands and then hand them back to them and be out back on the shelf insanities, then for them to just do it. Additionally, I witnessed the same employee "joking around" and pulling his mask down and pretending to cough and sneeze to his manager like he had COVID-19. This location seems to only care about following protocols/safety measures only when it suits them

This product was manufactured for a life of two years and it worked for only one year. The Garantee provided by Advance Auto Parts, was Excellent!

Battery is good, but the service is great. They installed it in my KIA even though it was trickier than most. Their computer said I'd have to take it to a "professional installer" but they spent a half-hour and took care of me anyway. I'll be back!

I only use my car 2 to 3 days per week, the battery even new just keeps losing it's charge and that was in the summer. Not sure if it will work at all when it gets and stays cold out.

Why is the final cost at cash register (calculation) incorrect on car battery DieHard Silver 121R??? The price - $159.99 + Core $22= 181.99; State Tax is 6% = $192.909. Core; Refund $22; cash register charged $170.91 -- I was charged tax on the Core, which was exchanged at the same time the battery was purchased, and when the Core was refunded, the tax was not???
