The Name Back Again.
I have had the battery for a couple months now since Beginning of December here in mid-middle Tennessee where it doesn't get as cold as other places but still somewhat cold and we have had a few below zero weather here so far and I have an 2012Ram 1500 5.7L engine and before the original battery finally died I replaced it with the New Diehard Platinum Battery. I like that when it was about 20 degree one morning after being cold for a few days and my truck had been sitting 4-5 days and hit the key and bam didn't even turn over once good and fired right up. But then I did expect it to had started the easy being a couple weeks old. But before getting this new Diehard I did research of other batterie's and I kept coming back here and I looked at the Gold with 3 year warranty but for a few dollars more you get 4 years of warranty with the Platinum and if you read they are the same battery and even was told so it was just 3 VS 4 years so yeah I wanted 4 years. Here's the funny part their made by Johnson control if you read far enough and man the old battery looked just like the new battery it replaced exactly just like it. if I can get 8 good years like I did with the factory battery I'll be happy and go for the Platinum to get the 4 year warranty you'll feel better like I did knowing any problems and they replace it for you and that sort of reminds me of the old sears auto stores of old know what I mean when it was service with a smile and thanked you for coming back Miss the old days and I'm 64 and have used Diehard in mostly everything I owned thru the years. Anyway get so far and I feel good knowing the truck will start when I go to use it any day of the week.

5stars for Grayslake location not round lake beach.
Do not go to the round lake beach location in Illinois. I went here to have a battery installed and one employee said yes and the second employee said no cause its in my trunk and cause of the covid. If you look up the battery for my car on their site it said yes they can install it i even took everything out of the trunk and made it so easy for them..so I went to their Grayslake illinois location and they installed the battery and did an amazing job.everyone go to advance auto parts in Grayslake amazing workings that go above and beyond for the customers..5 stars for Grayslake location..no stars for round lake beach location..give your employees at the Grayslake location a raise they deserve it..thanks guys for all that you do.thank you.

Is exactly like the original Mopar battery.
This is the exact same battery as my 2013 Ram 1500 came with only it had a Mopar sticker and part number and it lasted a strong 10 years. I know they are the same battery as the carry handle and even the fancy molded terminal protectors match and fit on the now cored OEM Mopar battery. So while I can't be 100% sure this Diehard will last as long, my confidence is high it will.

I used to love die hard batteries, not this one.
I don't believe this battery is made by die hard. I think you guys slap a label of some other battery company. Probably made in Mexico. This battery went bad in 2 years. Standard battery should last 3-5 years. The best thing that came with this battery is the 4 year warranty. It's hard pulling out that heavy battery out of a Chevy Silverado pickup truck. All the jumps and hurdles you need to do to replace the battery. It's disappointing that the battery goes bad in 2 years. Thank God I got a second vehicle to drive this battery back to the store.

Horrible customer service
Battery installation was supposed to be included, but the person that was putting the battery in didn't want to put the battery in and when I said I wanted it, he didn't know how to do anything and had the I dont care attitude. I ended up having to do the work in your parking lot for him. Worse customer service I have had anywhere in probably the last 10 years.
