This battery was supposed to be a Die-Hard Platinum which was a direct replacement for my 2016 Volvo V60 battery. When I picked it up it was an Autocraft battery and I did not see Die-Hard anywhere or Platinum but it was a 800 CCA battery and it was made in Germany and it looked about the same size as the old battery so I figured I would give it a try. Almost went in without a hitch but the battery hold down clamp did not quite fit the base of the new battery. Luckily I was able to reconfigure the Volvo hold clamp to fit another hole in the battery tray and that did clamp the battery down.

What are you supposed to review, A BRAND NEW BATTERY?
How do you rate a brand new battery? Did it start my car? Yes. Did it fit my car? Yes, as it was the same Group as the previous. Does it have a warranty? Yes. Guess I don't know what else there is to say. Was the store employee helpful? After some discussion on who would bring the battery into the store and place new one in the car, not me, your selling it to me. It was not an install just a purchase and swap out from the rear of my SUV. WOW....

Very disappointed to learn that my car apparently did not qualify! Really should put a disclaimer on website and maybe let people know that only certain cars qualify!

Definitely recommended for Volvo
I am a long time fan of DieHard batteries especially in my Volvos which seem to burn through them way too frequently (3-4 years) without any good explanation other than there is an unknown electric vampire device on the electric system. These batteries are reliable CCA wise, you can put them on a drip charge, they can take a boost and they fit perfectly in my engine bay. Currently using them on a 2012 Volvo S60 T6 and 2013 Volvo XC60 T6 both which are high-performance cars with turbo engines and upgraded ECU software from Volvo cranking out 345hp and 365 torque.
