It's a battery so, it worked when new. Check with me 3 years
What's to say, it looks OK, the truck starts. If it didn't the day installed, then I'd be surprised. That said, it was a major hassle getting Advance to replace the 2 year old Autocraft Gold battery under its 3 year free replacement policy. I'd like to paint the whole hassle in getting advance to own up to replacing it. But they won't let have enough space for that in a review. Suffice it to say the battery left me sitting and triple A checked it and found it defective. But Advance said it just needed a charge when I brought to them. So after 3 attempts it finally charged, but then got worse everyday. When it barely started I took it to different AA store where the tester said replace. But they wouldn't replace it claiming I had to send it in because it was an online order to take it to the store I bought. Did that, but their tester said low charge, not replace, so they refused. So I called AA customer service. To their credit they immediately created a 100% discount order for the replacement which I picked up. I get the sense that their store managers get a bonus for keeping warranty costs down given the reasons they could come up for not replacing the battery. I found similar stories to mine on line. I won't recommend the battery if you're counting on a no hassle warranty replacement if needed.

Awful customer service!
I've encountered the rudest representative, Charles Steele, 3 times at this location with his bad attitude! If you don't want to help customers, you're in the wrong business! He doesn't know how to talk to customers with respect & he's sorry! All he wants to do is type up a part on the computer all day! Today was not the day with me! The 1st time, I placed an order online & some of the parts were missing. He looked at me & the receipt like we were wrong! I took a part back that I didn't need & he acted as if that was a problem! Oh, but today, when I needed a battery replaced, he said he would see if he could replace it. You'll see??? I'm I reading it incorrectly that you all test & replace batteries? I went back in the store & verified with Christine that the price was correct since I put in the discount code when ordering online & the percentage wasn't taken off. She told me to call customer service to correct the price rather than placing the order again. I've yet to get a response from customer service. He was getting the battery then & he asked her if we were installing the battery or not? I told him the battery is paid for & it will be installed today. He huffed & puffed & finally came out to change the battery when he got ready! My uncle had already pretty much taken everything apart since Charles was acting like a little "woman" & taking so long! I told my uncle to let Charles do the job he signed up for! I guess he wanted Christine to check & replace the battery as well! He went to get his tools from his truck, I guess, & did the remainder of the replacement & rolled back in without saying anything! I've worked in customer service for years & I would have been walked out by management if I acted like this towards a customer! Life is stressful enough & it doesn't help when you're having car issues & someone treats you like this! I'm glad I'm a tad bit saved, but Charles is going to run those want to be tough lil tonsils to the wrong person one day!

They were able to quickly diagnose that the battery was bad, and replace it in a reasonable amount of time. I wish the store had a dedicated place to park for these services. I had my car jump started so I could drive there but was not parked in the correct area for them to work on my car.

The service rep did a great job. He replaced a bad battery we bought just 3 months ago, switching it out for free. Great service!
I have a Japanese import 95 supra. The battery died and I need a replacement. I heard there is a difference between Japanese batteries and American ones. Am I screwed when it comes to getting a new battery.
