Had a car come into the shop, needing exhaust work. The heatshields were missing, and N/A. I used the cool tape to cover the new exhaust pipe, where the shields were missing. It did a great job and was flexible enough to wrap around the pipe and bends. I wrapped at half tape width and it could easily formed to the pipe. I wouldn't use it on old exhaust or to patch a hole in one. I would definetly use this product again

DEI is an known good product brand. I did purchase two 15' strips to do my lower intercooler piping that was in close proximity to my exhaust. It did form and "stick" fine. I noticed 17 degree differences in intake temp after 15min of run time and after three tests that averaged to 17 degrees less. To the first person who left the review before me, you can NOT install this on an unclean surface or in cold weather, duh. There is plenty of adhesive to this to stick and form easily.
