Original Equipment Throttle Response
Staff Reviewer -
Recently I plugged in my OBD-II scanner and looked at the live data. When I put my throttle pedal all the way to the floor, it read roughly 80%. I could tell by this and the sluggish performance that I needed a new TPS.
Delphi was the supplier for the GM factories that built most of the 3100/3400 SFI engines, so the ECU was programmed based on this sensor; getting Delphi as opposed to any other brand means your engine/car will respond as the engineers intended. Even if you've modified your engine, as long as you have the same style throttle body, this is still the best sensor to get.
Needless to say, after installation, my 2001 Grand Prix SE (3100 SFI) has better throttle response than back when I got it. (It also reads 100% when I put the pedal to the floor.)
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
