Perfect yet again

I replaced these on my friends truck after I had already done them on mine. Friends was a 2001 chevy 1500 and now there are no codes at all. Siliconed around each one after install too keep any water out and the codes are all gone. Good to do if you're replacing intake gasket or already have the manifold off. Great product though, fits and works perfect.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Did not Work - Used AC Delco
Did the 3 hour replacement job only to find out that instead of one rear sensor code I was previously getting, both (front and rear) now came on after 50 miles. Reset the code and both came back every 75 miles or so.
Decided to try AC Delco KS instead and have had no problems.
Helpful hints for 2003 Suburban 5.3 Flex Fuel:
-Make sure you only torque these to about 15 ft lbs. They are sensitive.
-Get some high heat gasket sealant to make a half circle in front of rear sensor and rubber housing (Chevy 5.3L has horrible design for these and will get water in them)
-Buy new wiring harness at the same time. Old wires and plastic can break during this.
-Will need a 22mm socket to get these out of Chevy 5.3L
-Get carb cleaner at the same time as you will be taking apart the manifold and it only takes and extra 5 minutes to clean both sides of the butterfly in the TB
-Clean MAF sensor at same time
-Replace Manifold gasket as you will have the manifold off
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
Worked fine
2001 Silverado. Easy to install once you get the intake off. Replace wiring harness as well. Use RTV sealant on new harness per GM. Keeps water out. Got rid of my knock sensor code. Be carful during install as could cause vacuum leak at intake.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
